MASTER INVESTOR SHEFFIELD

Master Investor Sheffield will take place on 29 July 2019 at Jaywing’s city centre headquarters.
Engaging with private investors can be a challenge, especially outside of London where there are fewer opportunities for companies to meet with investors in significant numbers. The result is a substantial number of untapped private investors outside of the capital unaware of the opportunities. Master Investor is looking to change this by hosting an audience of private investors looking to find out more about companies they can invest in.
The event will be Chaired by James Faulkner, Editor of Master Investor Magazine. Joining James will be the CEO of Jaywing Plc, Rob Shaw and Dr Stuart Green, CEO of ZOO Digital Plc (2018 Small Cap Awards Company of the Year).
The panel will be discussing performance, future opportunities and why Sheffield and more broadly the North, is a great place in which to base their businesses.
The event will enable companies to update investors on their performance, outline future opportunities and strategies and connect with a high quality audience of investors interested in northern businesses.

THE PANEL
James Faulkner
Editor-in-Chief, Master Investor Magazine
Jim is an entrepreneur with a flair for identifying emerging global trends enabling him to build a worldwide business empire. He is amongst the top 10% in the “Sunday Times Rich List” (Britain’s equivalent to the Forbes list).
He is often described as the British Warren Buffett and he predicted the Credit Crunch of 2007-08 in a book entitled “Wake Up! Survive and Prosper in the Coming Economic Turmoil”. Jim followed this with “The Top 10 Investments for the Next 10 Years” (2008) and subsequently “Cracking the Code” (2012), “Fast Forward” (2014) and, most recently, “Juvenescence” (2017). His monthly “Mellon on the Markets” column in Master Investor Magazine has gained him cult status among investors.
He holds a master’s degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University. He is on the Board of Trustees of the Buck Institute in California, a trustee of the Biogerontology Institute, and a Fellow of Oriel College, Oxford.
Rob Shaw
CEO, Jaywing Plc
Rob Shaw is the Chief Executive of Jaywing, a data science-led agency and consulting business, with a marketing technology division and growing international footprint. With 30 year’s experience in the technology sector – particularly in the field of digital marketing – Rob has managed services for some of the UK’s largest brands including Tesco, O2 and Pets at Home. Employing over 450 people more than 70 of whom are experienced data scientists, Jaywing has offices in Sheffield, Leeds, London, Newbury and Sydney.
Dr. Stuart Green
CEO, ZOO Digital
Stuart brings over 25 years of experience of team building and executive management in the software industry to his role as CEO. Stuart established ZOO’s business strategy and difference in the marketplace by using technology to innovate. This is now adopted by the world’s leading TV and movie businesses to bring their content to market around the world faster and more efficiently. Previously he founded three software companies. Stuart has a Ph.D. in Computer Science and is responsible for securing over 30 patents in the ZOO intellectual property portfolio.
